I was delighted with the Planet sport scheme. It kept my children active during the holidays. My three children loved it, especially the option to stay with an activity if they liked it, but also to try new things and be encouraged to do so. The coaches were ALL absolutely brilliant-I cannot praise them enough. My eldest son has Asperger's syndrome and is quite challenging (so please if you are going to use this comment on the website I would like it to be anonymous), and they were so skillful with him-they were patient beyond belief, welcoming and so caring. They persevered with helping him to join in and he did really well with their encouragement. He felt liked and welcomed. They were so amazing and deserve every ounce of praise. The booking and registration was great-easy and quick. The range of activities was brilliant-all my children tried things they had not done before, and came away inspired to be sporty and active. I would like to add that you have a star in Chris Neate. He is an amazing individual. His patience, warmth, intelligence, kindness, skill and understanding were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He understood my eldest son's needs without my explaining, and actually taught me a few things about how to best deal with him. He is an amazing individual. I cannot praise the whole enterprise highly enough. Thank you. We will be booking next year.

Sport Description

Our Gymnastics courses offer girls and boys the opportunity to learn a range of exciting skills including balancing, rolling, jumping, vaulting, floor skills, routines and much more! Classes cater for complete beginners through to those with previous gymnastic experience. All our coaches are fully qualified with British Gymnastics and hold an Enhanced CRB.

Important information for parents/guardians

Here are some reminders of what they will need to wear and bring:

Sports kit - sport appropriate kit, eg. Trainers for all sports plus football boots and shin pads for football specific courses (not required on our Multisport courses). For your own peace of mind, please label all clothing items.
Waterproofs - for outdoor venues.
Equipment - Planet Sport provides all sporting equipment but children may bring their own if preferred. Please make sure any personal equipment is clearly labelled.
Refreshments - Please bring a drinks bottle for drink breaks. For holiday courses bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink (plastic bottles only) as children will have regular drink/rest periods.
Sun protection - Please bring sun hats/caps to all summer courses.
Presentation - On the last day of each course there will be a presentation of awards and certificates when parents/guardians are most welcome to attend. Just ask the Head Coach for more details.
