Can I just say how thoroughly impressed I am by Planet Sport at the David English Sports Centre in Bournemouth. For my son (who is 5 next month), it was his first experience of many of the 'multi-sports'. In the space of 5 days, he has become completely hooked on football. So much so that he doesn't want to go back to school next week, and would rather come back to Planet Sport instead. It's our first experience of using a a 'holiday club', but will most definitely be using again in May. The team you have there are exceptional with the kids, please pass on our thanks to them for making what has mainly been a drab and wet school holiday instead,, an exciting, fun filled and very active time away from school.

Sport Description

A fun introduction to the game of basketball, covering the basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and the rules of the game.

Important information for parents/guardians

Here are some reminders of what they will need to wear and bring:

Sports kit - sport appropriate kit, eg. Trainers for all sports plus football boots and shin pads for football specific courses (not required on our Multisport courses). For your own peace of mind, please label all clothing items.
Waterproofs - for outdoor venues.
Equipment - Planet Sport provides all sporting equipment but children may bring their own if preferred. Please make sure any personal equipment is clearly labelled.
Refreshments - Please bring a drinks bottle for drink breaks. For holiday courses bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink (plastic bottles only) as children will have regular drink/rest periods.
Sun protection - Please bring sun hats/caps to all summer courses.
Presentation - On the last day of each course there will be a presentation of awards and certificates when parents/guardians are most welcome to attend. Just ask the Head Coach for more details.
