Alex Murray

Coach Biography

Alex is an enthusiastic and energetic full time member of staff at Planet Sport.

Alex who is situated in Hampshire has 6 years of coaching experience, and has a big passion for Ice and Inline Hockey, as well as basketball and Multi-sport.

Alex first joined Planet Sport, in November 2007 when the company merged with Team Elite, now a part of the Planet Sport Group. Initially Alex started work experience with Team Elite whilst studying a Btec National Diploma in Sports Development and Fitness at Tauntons College. After a successful period he became a self employed member of staff.

Alex’s Coaching started at a young age when he would assist coaching younger age groups at his Ice Hockey club. From there he has gone on to gain his Level 2 Coaching badge in Ice Hockey, and coaches the South West England U13’s Squad. Alex has represented Great Britain at junior levels competing in the AAU 2006 Junior Olympics & World Championships.
