NVQ In Football Coach Education

This course has been designed to improve students’ leadership skills and communication with others; as well as building confidence and maturity by letting the students work as a team, take charge and instruct others in a professional manner. This course is ideal for any student who is interested in working within sports coaching, both for children and adults.

This Football Coach Education Programme is a practical full time two year course, for both male and female candidates, who have finished secondary school education.

Course content includes:

• NQV Level 1 Sport, Recreation & Allied Occupations
• NVQ Level 2 Teaching, Coaching & Instructing
• Award in Coaching Studies Level 2
• FA Coaching Certificates Level 1 & 2
• Child Protection trained certification
• First Aid award
• FA Referees award

Assessment is mainly practical based, but there is a theory element because of the portfolio building for the NVQ and the award in coaching studies.
